HOW WILL GOOGLE AND YOUTUBE LOVE YOU
This POST is the extension of the previous post “Tomorrow Is “Video Day”. ( I suggest that you first read the previous POST Tomorrow Is “Video Day”.)
As mentioned, SUNDAY WAS A VIDEO DAY. In each hour you can produce about 15 videos (each video is about 3 minutes long).
Next Video day is scheduled to the end of May. By that time POINT OF SKIN MUNICH will have about 100 videos.
So what else can we do with 100 videos? The answer of course is “connect to all the important social media platform” and publish those 100 videos on those FREE OF CHARGE platforms…
Next- The next thing that we are going to do is edit the “TAGS” of those videos.
This means that we are going to type into the “TAGS FIELD” on youtube the kind of words that people are going to type on youtube or on google when they are searching for the kind of business or the kind of solution that we offer…
Final thing – “THE VIDEO DESCRIPTION”, many people overlook this IMPORTANT part believing that the “tags” are enough. This is a misconception!!! Google “reads” the video descriptions and uses key words that appear on the video description (not just the video title). Google adds the video description and presents it to the reader under the link to your videos/your website.
When readers can see the video description they are more likely to open your link when the description matches to what they are looking for.
All together:
- Creating quality content – We will create about 100 videos that answer to consumers most frequent asked questions and concerns.
- We edit the “tags” and insert the type of “questions” and “words” that consumers will most probably type in google when they look for a product, a treatment, a solution and or a question that they have.
- We will include a short and efficient description (in the description field of each video)
When we talk about differentiating ourselves from the competition, doing the above 3 steps is the practical meaning of differentiation.
I don’t believe that there is any beauty salon/spa in the area of Munich that took the time to create 100 videos, do the “tag editing” as described as well as create 100 descriptions to each of the videos.
Point oF skin Munich is going to do it (is already doing it) and therefore Point Of skin Munich will be different.
I am 100% confident that by the end of June, Point Of Skin MUNICH (with it’s 100 videos) will be positioned on the TOP of the google and other important search engines!!! It is obvious to say that this initiative will “push” additional “NEW CUSTOMER” traffic to POINT OF SKIN MUNICH instead of to its competition!!!

SIGNING FOR SUCCESS
POINT OF SKIN MUNICH goes BRANDING ALL THE WAY. Even the signature that they use in their e-mails and other communication is now BRANDED.
You may think a LOGO is not branding. Yes, you are correct, a logo alone is not branding, but, add a branded logo TO THE ENTIRE branding procedure and YES the logo in your signature adds another dimension to the entire branding.
Imagine that your business communicates some important b2b activity with potential partners and your e-mails and other business stationary include branded signatures where your competition communication is plain.
Who is going to most probably “get the del”, who will most probably going to build more trust? Is it the business that branded it’s signature or its competition?
Taking in consideration that the race is close and you and your competition score similar points, the small thing called “branded signature” might be the little thing that will give you the extra points that you need in order to get the trust and get the deal.

Tomorrow Is “Video Day”.
Tomorrow (Sunday) I will be visiting Point Of Skin Munich for a “Video Day”.
During this day, we will shoot the following short Videos:
The importance / benefits of vitamins in Skincare -The importance / benefits of Ceramids in Skincare – The importance / benefits of Liposomes and multi Lamelar Liposomes – Explaining the SPF sun protection issue – Mineral sun blocks – Hyper pigmentation – Anti aging – how to delay the Aging process without plastic surgery – How to avoid / treat Sun damage (and sun damaged skin) – Skin diseases / allergies- Treating Rosacea with Bionome ingredients – Mimicking your skin with Bionome ingredients – What is Skinident and why is it so important
We will also shoot an interview video with the founder of Point Of skin (Me) about:
What is POINT OF SKIN - Whats the promise – The purpose – The mission – The difference – The benefits – What is a Skinologist? – Why is Point Of Skin much more than a normal beauty salon/SPA. So, all together about 20 (short) videos...
Together with the last video day ( Thant we shot in March), we will have about 40 videos or more.
Here is what we will do with those videos:
- Every week, Point Of Skin Munich will sent out a relevant video. This will be done under “NEWS” (What is new).
- The videos will be added to the weekly BLOGS.
- The videos will be added to the VIDEO PAGE of the Point Of Skin website.
- The videos will be added to the PROBLEM SOLVER page of the Point Of Skin website.
- We will upload the videos to the POINT OF SKIN YOUTUBE CHANNEL
Next Video day is scheduled to the end of May. By that time POINT OF SKIN MUNICH will have about 100 videos.
The aim is to position Mary Tange and POINT OF SKIN MUNICH as the authority for professional skincare in her geographic area!!!

Ask your suppliers/distributors to assist you to do the same. In the end, your business is also your suppliers/distributors business. Both of you earn from your business.

BRAND YOUR VISIT CARDS
Extending your BRANDING to your visit card. It is obvious that the same logo and some of the design elements that you already use on your website, your catalogs and so on should also appear on your visit card.
The questions are:
- Is it the case that who ever receives your visit card gets the same feeling as visiting your website?
- It what your business promises appearing in your business card?
- Is what makes you so special (you as the beauty salon/SPA owner) appearing in your business card?
- If you have staff, do they have a visit card? Your BRANDED business visit card with their personal name on it? In this case, Is what makes your staff member so special appearing in your/their BRANDED business visit card?
- Is your business promise (and mission) appearing on your visit card?
To my opinion, too little attention is given to BRANDING businesses visit cards. Many take it as a: “let’s do it as fast and as cheap as possible”…in the end, it’s just a “visit card”.
Many beauty salons/SPA use visit cards as a place to write the next appointment. In this case, the customers who receives your visit card will view it more that one time. In this case, the visit card becomes a reminder for the expectations that the customers can imagine/expect in her next visit.
Many times, your business visit card “finds it way” and lands at people who never visited your business. It happens when friends meet and talk about you and show your visit card or even give your visit card to their friends.
The Point Of Skin business visit card is a TWO page booklet. Having this extra space will allow to add the essential info that will make your business stick in the customers mind.

THE NUMBER ONE MILLIONAIRE RULE
One of the main difference between the Millionaires and all the rest is their ability to convert ideas into action plans.
Another issue that differentiates the Millionaires from all the rest is that they keep “following up” their action plans (daily, weekly etc…).
In this way, ideas become alive and help you reach your goals.
This simple and basic formula of: idea+action plan=achieving goals is all what most business people need in order to make a difference.
I participate in many business meetings where great ideas are generated. I write them down (those ideas) and keep them. In my next meetings with the same people I ask “what’s now”? Here is where the interesting things happen….the same people come up with more “great ideas”…
I ask, “what is about the great ideas that we discussed in the recent meeting”?…NO RESPONSE…most of those were forgotten!!!!! There was NO ACTION PLAN!!!!
There isn’t any problem whatsoever to come up with new ideas. There is an eternal problem of not converting great ideas into “living” action plans that will bring you to the goals that you want to achieve.
Practice this simple and basic formula of: idea+action plan=achieving goals, have the discipline to do your follow ups and the discipline to stick to your action plan. You will not need more ideas. The main idea of generating success is so simple: idea+action plan=achieving goals.
The “idea of ideas” is: converting ideas into action plans.

READY WHEN THEY ARE
It is essential that you know when your customers are ready/ripe to make their next purchase. This gives you the opportunity to think and plan the best special offers so that THEY (your customers) will chose you again! Therefore, customer database management is so essential!!!
When it comes to selling to NEW CUSTOMERS you lack this information about when they last purchase their skincare products. Regardless to how “irresistible” your special offers are, customers who just bought their skincare will not be tempted to buy from you. Your “irresistible offers” are simply not relevant for those customers (at this point). Those customers are not ripe to buy (at this pont)!
Therefore, sending out/advertising/communication each week A NEW SPECIAL OFFER, a “NEW IRRESISTIBE OFFER” and celebrating/announcing each week a NEW PROMOTION is so essential. When you do it every week: the chances of getting the attention of “NEW RIPE / READY TO BUY CUSTOMERS” is times greater than doing nothing (or offering special offers just once a month). It makes sense statistically (4-5 times more) that if customers come across your offers as many times as possible (52 times each year), they might (most probably) decide to try your business / treatments and products. Be ready when they are!!!

BE THEIR ROBIN HOOD
While travelling home via Frankfurt airport train station, my cabin stopped exactly in front of the smoking zone area.
I had a couple of minutes before the train moved on and I got those shots with my cellular phone camera (sorry for the poor photos quality).
As you will see, the smoking zone was clearly marked but hardly any of the smokers agreed to step inside the smoking zone. Most of them smoked “outside of the smoking zone”. They were breaking the law!!!
Most of us “break the law” in this way or another…and most of us like it if others “break the law” for us, “go out of the way” for us…we appreciate it and we feel special.
Businesses that “break the law” and do something special for us…(”a special offer”, a “special discount” or offer us “special payment conditions”) are perceived as special and are mostly liked.
There is something mysterious about “breaking the law” that excites us and triggers us when we push the borders and go beyond…
